As a fluent English speaker, it may feel natural to speak grammatically correctly, but how confident are you in explaining specific  grammar concepts to learners? This Language Awareness and Grammar course was developed to accompany our TEFL course for those training to become English language teachers, though it can benefit anyone, including those studying English as a foreign language.

If you are training to become an English teacher, starting with this course is not mandatory; however we recommend completing it before beginning the Teaching Grammar module.

What You’ll Learn

  • Develop a solid foundation in English grammar.
  • Prepare for the Teaching Grammar Module in our main TEFL Course, where you will learn to teach grammar  communicatively. 
  • Familiarise yourself with key terminology used in an EFL classroom.
