What does the Scholarship Programme Involve?
- The scholarship programme arms you with a 200-hour distance learning TEFL course and a certificate from GTEFL
- You will receive up to 2 months of real-life practicum experience in a British Council accredited English language school
- During the teaching practice period, full board accommodation will be provided
- For international trainees, your return flights from your country to the UK will be reimbursed
- You have the opportunity to travel on excursions and visit renowned locations in the UK
- You will receive a monetary maintenance allowance at the end of your scholarship period
What are the requirements?
To qualify for the GTEFL Scholarship, applicants must pass an interview with our British Council accredited English language school training partner and meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrate a strong passion for teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
- Possess fluency in the English language, both spoken and written.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Display enthusiasm for cross-cultural exchange and international education.
- Be committed to completing the full duration of the scholarship program, including the online TEFL course and the practicum experience.
- Show the readiness to actively participate in teaching activities during the practicum and engage with mentors and peers.
- Provide any additional documentation or information as requested during the application process.
